IXTH Pasture x Wake TV

Earlier this month we were given the opportunity to work with a good friend of ours in the mass communications department at Wake Forest University. Our good friend @CorvayaJ is the co-host of a fashion segment on Wake-TV called "Wake Up Your Style". We were called in to give a little insight as to what men should wear to stay warm in the colder months of the year and remain stylish. The photo above is from our initial meet up to learn more about the structure of the show and refine the topic we would discuss. More photos of this particular journey on the other side.

We had our initial meeting in the media lab of the Wake Forest library. She informed us of the structure of the segment and told us how to format the script we would need to create. Further discussion was about the scope of the topic and how to keep things concise. The segment in total would last about three minutes and we would be allotted about half of that to cover the basics of "Staying Cool in the Cold".

The day finally came to actually get on set and get the segment filmed. We had an extremely tight window but we were able to get everything shot in one take w/ minimal errors. No one told us reading off a teleprompter would be such a daunting  task but as nines always do we rose to the occasion and got it done.

The team over at Wake TV deserves a big shout out everyone was really welcoming and accommodating for our short visit.  We were very thankful to have the opportunity and felt great that someone valued our style and opinion enough to film it and air it.

While this is was only a three minute segment on a campus wide television station we do not make light of the opportunity. The fact that someone felt we were the just who they needed to help take what they are doing to the next level is a good enough feeling. We started the Pasture with the intention of connecting people and find out how to best utilize the resources around us to shed light on the very people we are connected with. This goes to show we are getting closer and closer to our ultimate goal. Things are progressing steadily and we can feel a major break through coming.
